May we introduce ourselves? We are an ensemble for symphonic wind music, founded in the summer of 2024. Our members are dedicated musicians who enjoy making music together at a high level in their free time.
We warmly welcome experienced musicians of all ages who are eager and passionate about performing symphonic wind repertoire.

Harmonia Leipzig is a dynamic symphonic wind orchestra based in the historic music city of Leipzig.
Ambitious musicians who are passionate about high-profile wind music will find an inspiring community here. Open to talented players from all parts of the city and beyond, the orchestra brings together people who take joy in rich musical textures and high-level ensemble playing.
Repertoire
Harmonia Leipzig’s repertoire reflects an exciting blend of classical wind literature, symphonic works, and modern compositions. With precision and artistic dedication, the orchestra performs both well-known masterpieces and innovative contemporary music on stages across Leipzig – setting musical highlights throughout the city. From Bach and Mendelssohn to Reed and Maslanka.

Woodwinds: Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet (E-flat, B-flat, Bass), Bassoon, Saxophone (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone)
Brass: Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone (Tenor, Bass), Euphonium, Tenor Horn, Tuba, Double Bass
Percussion: Timpani, Mallet Percussion (Bells, Xylophone, Vibraphone, Marimba, Tubular Bells), Drum Set, Snare Drum, Bass Drum, Cymbals and other percussion instruments
Additional instruments (optional, depending on the piece): Harp, Piano
